Events with sunny street outreach

We collaborate with the North County LGBTQ Resource Center to organize Pride by the Beach, a free and family-friendly PRIDE festival in Oceanside. Our founder serves as the Entertainment Director, helping to draw a crowd of over 25,000 attendees. In 2024, the festival won Gold for "Best of North County."

Our THANK YOU Party is a free celebration held between the holidays to express gratitude to our community supporters. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with music, raffles, free food, and opportunities to learn how to get involved with our mission.

In December, we host a festive toy giveaway where families can take photos with our heartwarming GRINCH character. We distribute hundreds of new wrapped toys to children in attendance, spreading joy during the holiday season.

 The annual Tamalada is a free community event that celebrates indigenous cooking techniques by teaching participants how to make tamales from scratch. Led by grandmothers sharing ancestral knowledge and supported by trained chefs, the event produces over 500 tamales to distribute to the houseless community. With ingredients sourced by various organizations, neighbors from diverse backgrounds come together to cook, share, and distribute meals directly to encampments, offering a nostalgic, culturally rich holiday experience.
